Hello and welcome to our blog!
rosiepink is me, Annie, and my mum, Lyn. We both live on the South Coast of England (me in Bournemouth and mum in Southampton). We're both lifelong crafters with a love of all things textiles and fibre. Our main passion is for feltmaking which is something we have dedicated a lot of time to over many years. I write this blog to share some of things we create and some of the lessons we learn along the way.
We love to combine hand and free machine embroidery with our feltmaking to create works of art - stitching on felt gives such beautiful textures. We also like to use lots of inclusions in our work e.g. our hand dyed scrim, yarns, silks and sparkly bits. We love anything and everything art and craft and enjoy mixing up techniques and different media, especially in picture making.
